Take a deep breath and remind yourself that you are safe.
Thank the chemicals for showing up and remind them that you are
the boss.
Continue to take deep breaths while sitting still. Again, remind yourself
that these are just feeling. Remember feelings are not the facts.
There have been many times when you have felt similar feelings but they
have eventually ended. Those feelings can end this time as well.
This is your body and it will listen to you with practice.
