Concealed pistol Training Class
Free Loaner Handgun are provided for signing up.
We have the top most affordable course in Houston TX. The best Trainers make the class an excellent experience.
Please bring the following items with you to class:

Ballpoint and paper. I know this sounds clear, but you’ll wish to take some notes.

A 9” x12” manilla envelope. There are a few paperwork that you’ll want to keep together
Please bring the following items with you, but leave them locked in your car:

A semi-automatic pistol, .32 caliber or above (9mm, .380, .40, and .45 are all satisfactory handguns).
Not less than 50 rounds of factory new ammunition (Ammunition you purchased at a retail store, Walmart will probably be the least expensive) You may want to bring more, should you are not able to qualify the first time, it is possible to shoot again. Though, this is not a difficult test to pass!

Hearing protection

Eye Protection Although it’s not required, I would suggest you bring a baseball cap and wear closed toe footwear to prevent flash burns.

If you want to go ahead and do the on the internet application, it is possible to complete it here: https://www.texasonline.state.tx.us/txapp/txdps/chl/

Please note the the state CHL fees are non-refundable however, so if you have any doubt about your eligibility, please speak with me or call DPS before you apply. The class itself is ten hours long, and requires instruction on the use of force, non-violent dispute resolution, pistol use, storage, and proficiency, and the Texas laws referring to handguns. During the course, we’ll cover the way to pick a pistol, different ways to carry the pistol, and talk about problems that might arise in daily life. We’ll talk when you will be able to and can’t use the pistol, ways to keep away from having to use it, and exactly what to do if you have to use your gun. We’ll also examine several real-world situations that people have encountered and discuss what they did right and what they did wrong. To pass the course, you need to pass a 50 question exam at the end of the day and successfully complete the range portion. That said, you should not have an issue passing this exam.

If there are any questions that I haven’t clarified, please let me know.

Regards,
John Kelley
